Native hit $2M ARR bootstrapped. Now they are in Y Combinator.

Native came through 6AM’s sixth cohort. We wish Benjamin and the whole team the best of luck.

Native has been accepted into Y Combinator’s F26 batch.

The numbers around it are the part worth sitting with. Benjamin Bekken, co-founder and CEO, put the timeline like this: began in January, launched in March, scaled to $2M ARR. Bootstrapped.

That last word is doing a lot of work. Most companies that reach two million in annual recurring revenue inside a year did it with money in the bank and people to spend it. Native did it on revenue, which means every dollar came from a customer who decided the product was worth paying for.

They said it themselves

Earlier this year, when we asked founders what 6AM had meant to them, Benjamin wrote this:

We came in with an idea and no product. 6AM helped us win hackathons, pitching contests and connect with insane people that took us to the next level.

That quote reads differently today. An idea and no product, then hackathons, then pitching contests, then Y Combinator. Every step looks small while you are taking it.

What they build

Native calls itself a marketing autopilot, and describes what it does as artificial intuition for marketing. The hard part is not generating text, that problem is solved and commoditised. The hard part is generating it in a voice a company recognises as its own and is willing to publish without rewriting every line. Getting that right across many customers is exactly the kind of problem that compounds once you crack it, and the revenue curve suggests they have.

They thanked YC partners Harj Taggar and Charlie Warren for backing them.

Go get it.
